Richard Clark is Associate Director – Digital Communications & Marketing at the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA). Richard and the digital team are responsible for CIJA’s digital advocacy; in other words, they use the latest tools, technology, and tactics to advance the Jewish and pro-Israel community’s interests.
Prior to taking on his his current role at CIJA, Richard worked as a strategist and communicator for federal and provincial political parties, the federal government, universities, start ups, charities, and not for profits.
He previously served as a Director of Policy and Stakeholder Relations to a federal Cabinet Minister. Prior to that, Richard was an organizer and strategist for one of Canada’s national political parties. He was responsible for operations in Ontario, coordinated national outreach, was a member of the communications team, and ran an internship program for 107 of the Party’s young leaders.
In the 2015 federal election, Richard was a candidate in his home riding of South Shore- St. Margaret’s in Nova Scotia.
Richard has studied political science at Dalhousie University and Carleton University.
