Luis De la Rosa is a political and industry analyst based in Santiago, Chile, and a Director of the Chile-Israel Council, the Chilean Chapter of the World Zionist Federation. There he has worked and collaborated with different local and international Pro-Israel organizations bringing awareness of the Chilean Jewish Communities Issues. (Chile houses the largest Palestinian community outside of the Middle East-over 450.000). He has been invited to speak and about the Middle East affairs and Israel by different Universities, Jewish Organizations and Communities.
He is also the co-founder of Conexion Cultural (Cultural Connection), a local project to create awareness of the different conflicts around the globe through education, culture and communication. The pilot project focused on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and featured members from both sides of the story addressing Palestinian, Chilean and Jewish students with amazing results. The project is due to start its second edition soon.
Originally from Colombia, Luis has a BA in International Affairs and Finances and in 2005 decided to move to Santiago to study at the University of Chile International Studies Institute (Instituto de Estudios Internacionales) where his got his MA in International Studies.
