David Matlow

David Matlow is a corporate and securities law partner at Goodmans LLP in Toronto and Chairman of the Jewish Foundation of Greater Toronto.  Together with Andrea Cohen, he was co-chair of Toronto’s 2015 Campaign for the United Jewish Appeal.   He is the owner of the world’s largest private collection of Theodor Herzl memorabilia, which he has exhibited in Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary and Edmonton.  Together with Israeli film maker, Eli Tal-El, he has produced a 52-minute documentary called My Herzl, which explores the continued relevance of the life and work of Theodor Herzl.  My Herzl  has been screened at film festivals and other venues around the world. CIJA has prepared a conversation guide to accompany the film.
