Jeffrey Rosenthal is a Managing Partner of Imperial Capital Group, which he cofounded in 1989. Mr. Rosenthal co-lead the formation of Imperial Capital Acquisition Funds I, II, III, IV, and V and the resulting acquisition of a number of successful portfolio companies. He has been integrally involved in the oversight and growth of these businesses, leading or co-leading follow-on acquisitions and arranging both private and public debt and equity financings.
Prior to 1989 he was involved in founding a number of entrepreneurial ventures in the computer, transportation, real estate, and entertainment fields.
Mr. Rosenthal received his B.A. degree with majors in Commerce and Economics from the University of Toronto in 1984 and his M.B.A. in Finance and Entrepreneurial Studies from the Schulich School of Business at York University in 1988.
He is currently a director of Schulman Associates IRB, Inc., Workplace Health and Cost Solutions Inc., and Canadian Veterinary Network Ltd.
He is Vice Chair of the board of the Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation, and Vice Chair of CIJA. Mr. Rosenthal is Past co-Chair of the Toronto United Jewish Appeal Campaign 2011 and a member of the UJAGT Board.
