Sara has extensive experience developing and implementing public policy and advocacy strategies in the private, not-for-profit, and political sector. Leveraging her experience as a corporate lawyer, Sara has provided advice to clients on issues relating to recruitment, training, regulatory compliance, public affairs strategy, business planning and execution and business development.
Sara also has extensive political experience involving senior organization and communications roles on both provincial and federal election campaigns. She is experienced at training candidates and campaign managers in many aspects of campaigning.
Sara now leads the GTA team at Canada’s leading Jewish and Israel advocacy and public policy organization and is a member of the national management committee.
Sara is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at Queen’s University. At Queen’s, Sara was the recipient of the P.E. Newbury course prize as well as the Reuben Wells Prize in Negotiation. Prior to commencing her legal studies, Sara earned her M.Sc. in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics, focusing on Conflict Resolution. She also holds a B.A. (Honours) in Political Studies from Queen’s University.
